Kavita Kuruganti is a well known social activist, who is Founder & Convenor of Alliance for Sustainable and Holistic agriculture (ASHA). This organization is a nationwide alliance of more than 400 organisations which is working to improve farm livelihoods. She has been working on various social, economic and environmental justice issues on a non-monetary basis from 1993 onwards and with her 23 years of experience Kavitha has worked on many campaigns, women’s funding and state level resource organizations in addition to working along with farmers movements for their welfare.
