Hindon Van Mahotsav

The Hindon Van Mahotsav will be organized from 19-26 August under the Nirmal Hindon Abhiyan. During this period plantation will be done on the banks of Hindon and all its tributaries, Krishna, Kali West, Dhomola, Panodhoi and Nagveh. This plantation will cover about 3 lakhs of different species of different plants in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar, all seven districts passing through Hindon and its tributaries. In this work, all the district administrations, self-help organizations, social workers, village heads, religious organizations and students will participate. Preparations are going on in all the districts. The fair will also be held in the Nirmal Hindon and the Kannwad Mahotsav.
